Badger Meat Science Club had a busy summer! In June, our Quiz Bowl team competed at the Reciprocal Meat Conference (RMC) in Cleveland, OH. Along the way to the conference, the team and other students and staff of MSABD were able to tour several facilities to further learn about various aspects of the industry. In addition to RMC, graduate students attended the International Congress of Meat Science and Technology (ICoMST) in Girona, Spain. Everyone in attendance learned a lot about meat science around the world, toured regional meat processing facilities, and presented their own research. As the new semester gets underway, we look forward to sharing more experiences from our members!
