The Design Team and UW Meat & Animal Science faculty and staff participated in the first official design meeting for the new meat science facility. This meeting was a Goal-Setting Workshop designed to develop a universal vision and mission for the project.  This exercise would prove to be valuable on numerous occasions as it pulled the design  team together to provide direction and some expectations. The site of the facility was also discussed.
